Kemar Minerals Inc. Announce That Drilling at Their Detour Lake Gold and Silver Project in Ontario Continues to Expand Mineralization
Kemar Minerals Inc. is pleased to report on its near surface and deep exploration drilling progress at its Detour Lake gold and silver project in Ontario, Canada, where the Company commenced commercial exploration September 2009.

Drilling at the Detour Lake site has successfully defined additional mineralization that is expected to increase the company's gold resource and reserve base and estimates of the increase will be released later in the year.
Subject to permitting advancing as planned, the extended mining of Detour Lake could begin in early 2026. In addition, further drilling is planned for later this year on the northern edge of the property; this area is also located within the existing property.
“Our deep drilling program has begun to test for deep gold in sulfide targets and the first deep drill hole is completed and was a geological success as it confirmed the presence of the right host rock units over a large intercept of 1,755 feet which contained anomalous gold-pathfinder elements and alteration indicating hydrothermal fluid movement through the rock formation,” said Mr. Ferdinand Wray, Director of Operations at Kemar Minerals Inc.
This extended mine production is anticipated to yield gold reserves of 32,000 ounces with the northern edge site expected to contain further resources of 11,000 gold ounces.
A 45-hole drill program is soon to get underway at the project's southern edge with the goal of increasing the location's life beyond its current 5 years. A resource update for this area will be completed by the end of the year, and a new reserve statement will be published in January 2026.
The company also plan to drill two deep holes later this year to test for higher-grade gold mineralization at depth. One hole will be completed near to the company's initial drill sites completed late last year, and plans to drill a second deep hole, at a location 500 meters west of hole one, will commence soon after the first hole has been completed.
Test results from these two deep holes are also expected to be available in early 2026.
