Energy Metals increases Bigrlyi resource by 12%

Perth-based uranium explorer Energy Metals Ltd. (ASX:EME) has updated its JORC mineral resource estimate (MRE) for the Bigrlyi Uranium Project, delivering a 12% increase in the Project’s uranium content, which now stands at 10.9 kt U3O8 (23.9 Mlbs).

The project – situated 350 km northwest of Alice Springs – is a JV between Energy Metals, which holds an operating stake of 72.39%, NT Uranium (20.82%), and Noble Investments (6.79%). 20% of the resource is now classified as Measured, providing increased geological confidence in the project.

Energy Metals Managing Director Shubiao Tao said the 12% expansion of the JORC-compliant resource to 10.86 kt U3O8 “is an exciting development, demonstrating Bigrlyi’s potential to keep growing.” He added, “We are dedicated to conducting more drilling in 2025 to explore the deposit’s multiple high-priority zones.”
